This 12" Disc is actually Funky Dance
Music and not Disco. It was recorded in
1979 and got airplay in many clubs in North
Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. There
is a vocal side and instrumental side. The
featured vocalist is Kevan Tynes, formally a
lead singer with the Mighty Majors from
Greensboro, NC.
Turn This Disco Out was written by
Charles Carlton and arranged by Cirt Gill.
The executive producer was Earl Gill, who
was co-owner of Jam-A-Ditty Records
named for his uncle, Cirt Gill,Jr. The 1st
Black Radio Personality in North Carolina.
